Amy and I went to Winterplace on what turned out to be a gorgeous clear day. Not a cloud in the sky. There were relatively few people at Winterplace and the skiing and snow conditions were terrific. Lisa and Sonia, from Ahavath Shalom, joined us later in the afternoon and we were able to hook up with the folks from Beckley. Their student rabbi, Rabbi Rachel led us in song. The highlight for me was singing the Adam Sandler Hanukah song. As you can see from the picture, the Beckley congregation turned out in mass. I spoke with Tom Sopher and we agreed that this should be an annual get-together for our respective congregations. Unfortunately, despite Sandy Deitz's best wishes, I could not even give away the chocolate gelt. Oh well, we'll save it for next year.
